Sri Amaravathi Spinning Mills started its operation in the year 1985 with a humble capacity of 6000 spindles. The spinning unit is a part of reputed AMARAVATHI TEXTILES GROUP in KARUR, well known as a leading exporter of home textiles for over three decades. Driven by natural trait of entrepreneurship of the Chief Executive of the group, Sri.M.Sivakannan, the unit gradually expended its capacity to 19,000 spindles, while simultaneously undergoing the inevitable process of modernization.

The unit is fully aware of its responsibilities and commitments in a market driven economy under the WTO dispensation.
