K.M. Knitwear is established by Mr. K.M. Subramanian B.E., in the year 1993. With hard work and dedication, the company has turned as Govt. recognized export house on 1-4-2002 and grown in to a leading export unit with 40,000 Sq.ft., building area for production with a annual turnover of USD 5 million in the year 2002-2003. The company has attained the landmark of 34th position in the A.E.P.C. exporters list for the year 2002 - 2003.
Vertical Integration
7 Nos of " FALMAC" imported interlock circular knitting machines.
3 Nos of "BARUDAN" imported brand new embroidery machines with
9 colour X 52 head, with a capacity of 2 million stitches per day.
5 Nos of "CHEST PRINTING" machines upto 12 colours printing capability.
1 No. band knife cutting table and 1 No. lay cut machine.
200 Nos of Sewing machines (all motorized) including singer, over lock, flat lock etc.,
Still efforts are taken to add allied processing units.

Keeping in the mind the present scenario in the industry our company has build a strong base for buyers by extending the benefit of quality assurance by getting ISO 9001:2000 certified by Bureasu Veritas Quality International, London on 19th Feb 2003.
